Jack Michael Spangler

May 28, 1957 - December 31, 2007

The Georgia Chapter AWI is deeply saddened with the news it has lost a dear member of its leadership.

Jack Michael Spangler passed away on December 31, 2007. He was born in Kittanning PA. on May 28, 1957 the son of Jon and Marion Spangler.

Jack graduated from Kittanning High School in 1975 and went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Penn State.

He then moved to the Atlanta area in 1978 and began his career in the construction industry. He and his brother Joe started working together and later established Spangler Brothers Construction and was known for their exceptional skill and attention to detail.

In 1993, Jack went to work for Randall Brothers Inc. as an inside salesman and through hard work and his impeccable attention to detail became the Architectural Sales Manager in 2006. That same year Jack became the Secretary for the Georgia Chapter of AWI.

Jack was always the person his fellow workers went to for needed information on product use and application and his encyclopedic knowledge will be sorely missed.

Jack is survived by his Wife, Jill, and two sons, Jon and Josh.
